We are inviting everyone who is interested in being a docent at the Fifth Maine Museum to attend our upcoming training class. Are you interested in Peaks Island history? Would you like to know more about our beautiful, iconic Fifth Maine Museum? Do you like to meet new people and chat with them?

Being a docent at the Fifth Maine Museum is a unique opportunity for lifelong learners who want to contribute to the Peaks Island community and help our visitors understand the history that make Peaks Island so special. Our docents have a huge impact on our museum visitors.

Our group of docents has a variety of interests — but we all have one thing in common. We love the stories that bring history to life! No previous experience is required!!
