Challenge Illustration Institute’s co-founder author/illustrator Scott Nash and a surprise guest with your silliest requests for a drawing. In front of the crowd\, Scott and his guest will draw your idea (to the best of their ability on the spot!) without seeing each other’s interpretation – yet you will see both. An entertaining event that cheers on creativity in action and the notion that there are\, indeed\, many ways to draw a unicorn riding a bicycle in a snowstorm! Join us as we close our exhibition with a lively celebration of illustration. You won’t want to miss the final program in the Illustration Institute Great Slate of Programming series! \nAll Ages~ All are welcome! There is no cost to attend this event. Registration is required as space is limited. \nAbout Scott Nash\nScott Nash is a Maine-based illustrator\, educator\, graphic designer\, product designer\, children’s book illustrator\, and writer. He is the co-director of the Illustration Institute and has been instrumental in the growth of the Illustration Department at Maine College of Art & Design\, which is now the largest department in the school. Nash is also known for his work on the Flat Stanley books and his design of logos for Nickelodeon\, Nick at Nite\, Nick Jr.\, and Comedy Central. He founded the illustration program at Maine College of Art and runs NASHBOX\, a graphic design and illustration company with his wife\, Nancy Gibson-Nash.
