It highlights their vital role in ecosystems\, the challenges they face\, and how we can help secure their survival. \nWith moments of sadness\, humour\, and hope\, the film weaves a powerful narrative on the urgent need to protect biodiversity globally. Featuring heartfelt interviews\, such as with Kilkenny native 81-year-old Peter Walsh\, who’s been counting bees since 1959\, and showcasing a 5km biodiversity corridor created by locals in Skerries\, it debunks myths and inspires action. \nSet to a unique live soundtrack of traditional Irish music\, this is a story about nature\, community\, and resilience—and about all of us. \nThe film score will be played live by the outstanding musicianship of Brenda Castle on concertina\, Eimear Arkin on fiddle\, and Eamon O’Leary on bouzouki. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFree for folks over 80 and under 18.

DESCRIPTION:Thank you all for your kindness over these past few months. It’s time to celebrate life\, community and live music. We are committed to bringing the opportunity to experience something beautiful together. World class roots musicians and musical performance right here at home. Our summer home is the magnificent 5th Maine Museum.  \nPlease help us kick of the 2025 season with our friend Chris Moore and Yard Sauce. YARD SAUCE is an acoustic\, folk and Americana Maine-based trio featuring Chris Moore (mandolins and vocals)\, Jeff Christmas (guitar and vocals) and Callie Brennan (fiddle and vocals). Their dynamic live performances draw from the group’s eclectic musical tastes\, diverse regional folk music influences\, and a deep catalog of original songs. In an effort to facilitate multigenerational and inclusive community the performances and dances we host are by donation.  \nFree for folks over 80 and under 18.
