Selina Alko Mixed Media Workshop with the Illustration Institute
“M is for Maine”

TEIA and the Illustration Institute welcome Illustrator Selina Alko to share her journey of becoming a picture book illustrator with an emphasis on her published books: “B is for Brooklyn” and “I is for Immigrant.” She will also share the process of how she works in her own studio, the supplies she uses, and the big messes she makes! In her workshop, participants will use lettering, acrylic paint, and various textured papers to create their own alphabet letters. Attendance is limited to 35 participants.
