Illustration Institute cordially invites you to our July 31 benefit night, A Midsummer Peaks Eve! Enjoy an evening of summery drinks and refreshments at the beautiful MAZZA studio, and tour the grounds of the magical Faison residency.
Watch local illustrators draw your most creative, ridiculous, or challenging requests in a ‘Draw – Off’ led by Scott Nash.
Celebrate Illustration Institute artist in residence alum, Brian Floca, as he debuts his new picture book, Island Storm. This beautiful collaboration between two highly esteemed, award winning artists is written by Brian and illustrated by Sydney Smith, based on Brian’s experience while on Peaks Island.
Books will be for sale, thanks to Longfellow Books. Brian will share insights about the genesis of the story, explain his creative process and sign copies for you!
