ADULT SAILING: Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning July 1 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Have a desire to learn or refine sailing skills & knowledge?  This is an adult beginner/intermediate sailing class for those with limited or no experience.  Small group classes are taught in a 20′ fiberglass keelboat with an experienced instructor. Learn to rig, steer, trim and land a medium-sized sloop. Gain confidence navigating through Casco Bay and handling a sailboat in varied wind/water conditions. Drop-in as often as you can or come for only one class – we’d love to have you. Bring a snack, meet new friends and enjoy the sunset from the water! 

Pay-as-you-go reservation between July 1 and Aug 7. $45/TEIA member & $60/non-member.

All adults must wear a lifejacket during classes – please bring your own or borrow one from us, if you wish. Wear layers, bring foul weather gear and a water bottle. Adult classes may be cancelled if dangerous weather is predicted – please contact Liz for updates. No swim test is required – but adult students must be able to swim and reasonably comfortable on a boat.
