Death with Dignity with Atty. Brenda Buchanan and Bridget Joyce: Wednesday, June 25 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm**

TEIA and the PI Health Center will host a discussion on “Death with Dignity” on Wednesday, June 25 with Attorney Brenda Buchanan and Bridget Joyce, an end-of-life doula. Before achieving her NEDA BADGE, Bridget completed a death doula training and end-of-life planning course through “Going with Grace” and served as a hospice volunteer. The speakers will focus on topics such as Living Wills, Health Proxies, do not resuscitate orders and Maine’s Death with Dignity Act, adopted by the Legislature in 2019.
