The 25-voice Peaks Island Chorale in, “Inspirations” – a concert focusing on how music inspires and overlaps with other music in all genres. Works by Mozart, Chopin, Dylan, Copland, Manilow, Gilbert & Sullivan, Queen, Rossini, Thomas, York, and Bizet, in addition to traditional Shaker music, Sea Shanties, and early American pieces.

Dan Sedgewick, piano, and Marji Gere, violin; with islander Will Green, Baritone. These talented classical New England-based composers and music educators collaborate across art forms regularly and will bring us a wonderful chamber music program featuring both instrumental and vocal works (details on featured works forthcoming).

The Casco Bay Tummlers! Together since 1988, but WE haven’t heard these fun Klezmer musicians on Peaks for a LONG time, and they’re DUE! Annual Island Musicians Concert (Scholarship Fundraiser); a wonderful combination of diverse musical styles and performers of all ages. This annual program offers a nod to PIMA’s beginnings in the 1970’s featuring only island musicians (and it’s a secret, but, there will be a good deal of BROADWAY MUSIC this year!)
