Zone 1 or up to 0.7 mile: $5.00 per destination

Zone 2 or over 0.7 mile: $5.00 per destination

plus $2.00 for each additional person at the same destination

Oversize items: $1.00 extra

Filled shopping carts, large suitcases, dog crates, etc.

Reduced fares

In keeping with our mission, we offer reduced-fare programs for seniors and
limited-income residents. Contact us or ask a driver about how to enroll.

Operating Hours

On call every day, 7:45 AM – 6:00 PM

We meet all boats between 7:45 AM and 6:00PM

For service during other “on-call” hours,
call (207) 518-0000 well in advance to arrange for pick up. On-call service is not guaranteed.

Child seats must be provided by passengers

Description

The Island Transportation System (ITS), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, provides affordable transportation for all visitors and residents, as well as charitable services to elderly, handicapped, infirm, and low-income residents.

We provide package delivery, food delivery from island restaurants, and will even check to see if you left the oven on.
