For those who don’t know me, my name is Lucia. I grew up on Peaks Island and now live in Portland, where I work for an adventure-based summer camp called Apogee Adventures. Apogee runs hiking, biking, and community service trips across the U.S., the Caribbean, and Europe for students ages 11–18. I was an Apogee student myself and later led trips throughout college, the experience of an Apogee summer is one that truly changed my life! I’ll be hosting an informational session on Peaks Island on March 18th from 7–8 PM, and I’d love to see you there. The information session will be held at my house, 30 Central Ave. If you’re curious about Apogee or know a family with kids who might enjoy an adventure-filled summer, please stop by and spread the word!
