Spring is about to begin. Celebrate the vernal equinox by participating in a SPIRAL DANCE, this Sunday morning at 10:00am at New Brackett Church on Peaks Island at our weekly worship service. Our Sanctuary is being painted, so we are holding service in the church hall in a large circle. This week we are going to join hands and wind ourselves to the center and then back out to the periphery while seeing each other’s face. As always, the service will be followed by a community potluck meal. The image is a terracotta ram from the Temple of the Kabeiroi in Thebes. I took this picture while visiting the British Museum last week. The beginning of Spring also marks Aries season, represented by the ram. Celebrate the balance of the equinox, the head-on energy of Aries, the freshness of the spring, and the flow of community this Sunday, March 22nd, at 10:00am at New Brackett Church on Peaks Island.
